North Bengal and Sikkim are very rewarding areas for birding, whether you are novice or expert, have only a day or two at your disposal or a few weeks. At time of writing we are the only company in the area offering birding trips guided by a local specialist. We are able to offer you not only full travel support, but also detailed local knowledge and birding assistance. For each of the main birding sites we have listed some of the birds seen at each one by regular UK client Stuart Keenan. (see Feedback) Depending on the season, the time you have available, and the birds you wish to see, we will be able to suggest a suitable itinerary.
Recommended books are:

A pocket guide to birds of the Indian Subcontinent
by Richard Grimmett et al

A Birdwatcher’s Guide to India
by Krys Kasmierczak and Raj Singh

You may also like to look at www.kolkatabirds.com which has a good range of images of birds of our region, or the UK based Oriental Bird Club at www.orientalbirdclub.org
